We have had lawyers involved and the builders have signed addendums to contracts stating if I paid them money they would finish the work. But guess what, they took the money and ran. These guys are often drunk on site, especially friday afternoon. Sometimes so drunk they were unable to talk. The other tradesman on site are not happy about this as they think drunk people operating power tools is an accident just waiting to happen. With young children around this obviously scares me. All in all a really bad experience.
