Rene says: I have been to hair by nivine both at eastgardens and bondi and would recommend it to everyone. I have been to allot of hairdresers and know the difference between a great hairdresser and someone in experienced. My hair was thin and damged and when I went their they cut it and gave me delux treatment. I thought all their staff were very friendly and professional. I was given a qote which I accepted before the service was charged. All their prices were very reasonable and I got excellent service. At eastgardens salon I was recommended products to use on my hair which I bought and since using them, my hair has never felt or looked better. I AM DEFINATELY GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!
They are wonderful!

Lilly82Sydney says: Ladies I also went there one years ago and they trachsed my already blonde over bleached hair. These girls who do not care for hair shouldnt be a hair dresser. No woman wants damaged dry rose hair. Please please try RZB hair in Double bay, I found Ronnie and have been his loyal customer for 3 years now, I can ALWAYS trut him to be honest,fair in price and actually cares if what I ask for will damage more than him just taking my money. He does amazing hair extensions with rings that last up to 2 years not this 4 month rubbish. His salon is not fancy but he has ladies young and old who can afford anyone but they want him. NivineSucks says: I went in for a $70 hair cut & blow dry and as soon as i walked in they started with the pressure sell tactics the supposed hairdresser i got stuck with had zero interest in actually doing what i was paying her for - that is cutting my hair, she barely cut anything off despite my asking for several centimetres off she wouldnt listen to a thing i said, though she wouldnt shut up when being critical about my hair and the products i use (all the while offering me expensive "miracle cures"). This woman spent the best part of an hour running around the salon thrusting brouchures, pamhplets, hair products, starighteners, hair extensions and anything else she could grab at me & belittling me when i said no thanks, the total time actually spent on my hair was about 10 minutes. When it came time to pay the counter was lined up with the products i had already said no to and the hairdresser was running them up on the till! Unbelievable cheek as she still tried to argue with me that i needed to buy this, that and the other for various reasons. I will never set foot in this place again - They should give up the hairdressing side of things and just become a retail shop for hair products as selling is clearly their main focus not doing hair.

Buttonlily says: I feel so much better after reading these comments. I went there a while ago and ended up paying way more than I was expecting, thanks to the 'add-ons'. I ended up in tears as I really couldn't afford it. Now at least I know that it wasn't me just being totally gullible and a push over! They really are bullies.

laure says: I had a bad experience in hair by Nivine i went in to get some hair spray in no time they had me sitting down and putting hair extensions in my hair the next thing i had 3 girls around me telling me i had to buy them, i felt bullied into it and eneded up putting a deposit on them. And then making an appointment to get my hair done the following week. When i went into the saloon for my hair appointment i informed the girl i didnt want the extensions any more and wanted to put the deposit towards my hair appointment to which i was show all the signs for NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE ON PRODUCTS!!! I should have walked out because i sat there for 3 hours to get a colour and high lights what a joke it was not even busy all the girls where bitchy and rude except for the young girl who washed my hair after
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM OVER PRICED & NOT GOOD HAIR DRESSERS AT ALL

Hairdresser was running late, offered to give me a hair treatment whilst I waited for them and charged me for the treatment without letting me know I had to pay for it. Did not have an available hairdresser for my pre-booked appointment and had 3 different stylists work on my updo who were not interested in what I wanted done with my hair and proceeded to do their own thing. Very unprofessional

dijana says: hair by nivine eastgardens is the worst salon i have been to in my time, i was quoted a $60 half head of foils and ended up paying $240.
as soon as i sat in the chair the selling began, shampoos, two tones, toners, everything, the whole time was spent refusing the offers and defending my reasons as to why.
after being left at the basin for about 30 mins with dripping hair and cold my hairdresser dried me off and proceeded to put hair extentions in, after saying no too many times she then charged me $240 for the horrible service and $50 for a toner! which i didnt ask for.
horrible service misleading and 2 hours of utter hell.
also the streaks were un noticable which was something i didnt want.
never going there ever again.

Annoyed100 says: I have to say the service there just to buy hair product is pathetic. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE! They will take your money, provide you with the WRONG product and do nothing about it!!!!! I had to call repeatedly as they wouldn't return calls and wasted 3 hours of my life trying to replace the wrong product. Once i finally spoke to the Manager Lynda she hung up on me. Never go there again! I will definaltey let me friends know. This is the second bad experience but no more!

Toosmart4nivine says: I was approaching the Bondi store to get a service; and before i even walked in the store i had three of the girls working there looking me up and down and giving me cold stares... Then when i approached the counter for a quote and to see if someone was avialable for a cut, colour, blowdry; one began telling me of the treatment; extra toners; extra folis and hair exentions i nedded..??!!!! I just wanted a straight-forward service and average quote without all the extras. After a 10 minute speech on what oadditional products and items i needed i managed to get a quote. I then proceeded to sit down and begin my service. Being there in the chair all in 5 mins; i had to overhear the nasty gossip and personal business of one of the gilrs which i didn't care to know. What are they running? A bitchy gossip highschool, zoo or hair salon? I just cancelled and left. I would not give my business to nasty; UNPROFESSIONAL; silly girls with the decency; manners let alone a clue i doubt, to do my precious hair. I highlt do not recomment anybody to risk going there.
