danni83 says: Fantastic!!!! I went in there on saturday for a little trim, Cool, funky salon, the staff were really friendly. The stylist talked me in to having my hair chopped up to my chin, I went out on saturday night and had 4 people ask me where I got it done :) if you go, ask for William to cut and Nicole to colour.
hayley76 says: Have struggled to find a salon I like since moving to Sydney 6 months ago - especially made harder by the fact that I'd been happily seeing my hairdresser in Melbourne for 5 yrs :-( A friend recommended me to Wink hair on Hunter Street, to which I nervously made an appointment last week. All I can say is I wish I found them sooner! My hair looks & feels fabulous again. Its a funky little salon with cool music but isn't in any way intimidating as some of the other high end salons I've tried. Definitely going back!
fetta says: I have recently started getting my hair done at Wink on Hunter St Sydney. I was looking for a salon close to work and was also ready for a change and have never looked back since.
The workers are all super friendly and it’s not over the top at all. You can chill out, read a magazine, watch FTV at the basins and have a lovely glass of wine or coffee. I have seen people of all ages in the salon and everyone walks out with a smile on their face and terrific hair.
Nicole does a fantastic job on my colour – I changed from blonde to brunette and my hair looks so healthy and has an amazing shine. Will is the most amazing cutter EVER – he has shaped my hair into a funky bob which is longer at the front and it looks terrific and is so easy to manage. They both consult with you at length on each appointment, unlike most hairdressers who do this on the first appointment and then that’s it.
I have never had so many comments about my hair and I have recommended that all my friends and work colleagues try this salon. I find the prices very reasonable too. They are open late most nights so it’s a lot easier to get into than the standard salon that is only open late on a Thursday night and Paul the owner always makes a genuine effort to get you in when it’s convenient for you.

cosmosara says: I got my hair done at wink! last week for the first time, I did a bit of research on the web and they had some good comments written about them.
The salon is busy but runs very smoothly, I had full head foils which they toned at the basin ( a lot of salons never seem to tone! ) and a style cut/dry. All in all I thought they were great! A few people have noted on the web that they leave you many times to cut other peoples hair at the same time as you and you just get left sitting there, UNTRUE, my stylist excused himself once while he jointly consulted a client that was been coloured first then cut, their policy is always joint consultations with stylist/colourists.
Total cost was just under $300 which is normally a bit pricey for me, but they are worth it for sure, I actually rebooked for 6 weeks time... I haven't done that ever before :)
