DREAME Unveils “Whole-Home Smart Living” Strategy in Vietnam, Advancing Toward a Next-Generation Home Infrastructure Brand

0

Evolving from a cleaning-tech champion into a full-home lifestyle brand, DREAME begins with core categories like refrigeration and laundry, using flagship innovation and a structured product portfolio to reshape how Vietnamese families live at home

HANOI, Vietnam, Dec. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — DREAME, a global high-end technology brand, officially unveiled its “Whole-Home Smart Living” strategy for Vietnam on December 16  at a channel conference and product ordering event in Hanoi. While maintaining its leadership in cleaning devices, DREAME is making a systematic move into core home appliance categories such as refrigerators and laundry, positioning Vietnam as one of the key strategic hubs for its whole-home business in Southeast Asia.

From cleaning tech to whole-home living

Founded in 2017, DREAME has built its core strengths on high-speed digital motors, intelligent algorithms and bionic robotic arms, quickly establishing a leading position in smart cleaning. The company’s business now spans more than 100 countries and regions, with over 6,000 offline stores and tens of millions of households served, and has achieved No. 1 market share positions in cleaning appliance categories in multiple countries and regions around the world.

“Today, Dreame Technology has grown into a global high-end technology brand, with its portfolio spanning high-end smart home appliances, smart vehicles, smart kitchen appliances, smart cleaning devices, outdoor smart equipment and personal care products. We aim to free users’ hands through technology, so they can devote more time and energy to themselves and to enjoying life,” said Director of DREAME Southeast Asia, Jacky Zhong. “Vietnam is one of the most dynamic and strategically important markets in our whole-home roadmap – with young consumers, an open channel ecosystem and a strong desire to upgrade their quality of life.”

Refrigeration and laundry as the “infrastructure layer” of the modern home

Within the “Whole-Home Smart Living” strategy, refrigerators and washing machines are seen as the “infrastructure layer” for DREAME’s entry into core home appliance categories in Vietnam – not just individual products, but systems that determine the rhythm and quality of daily life.

In refrigeration, DREAME has built an architecture centered on the Z-Fresh flagship series, C-Fresh Slim series and Mega Pro series, designed around different kitchen layouts and household needs. In laundry, it has structured a portfolio built around the L9 AI Dual Inverter washer-dryer set, the P Series front-load range and the D3/V3 top-load series, creating a layered care system from premium to mass-market households.

At the same time, DREAME also showcased innovation across additional categories – the Aura Mini LED 4K S100 TV, X-wind air conditioner, HZ602 range hood + EZ60 bridge induction hob, and the DZ401 Pro dishwasher – laying the product and technology foundations for future whole-home deployments in Vietnam:

  • The Aura Mini LED 4K S100 TV adopts a QLED + Mini LED backlight solution with full-array local dimming and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. Together with HDR, Dolby Vision and the in-house Dreamind™ Pro AI processor, it delivers higher contrast, richer colors and sharper details. The built-in Dreame Master acoustic system incorporates a full soundbar, a hidden Ultra Drum subwoofer and four up-firing speakers, for a total of 11 drivers and peak power of up to 70W, creating an immersive Dolby Atmos experience that truly turns the living room into a home cinema.
  • The X-wind dual robotic air conditioner uses the world’s first dual robotic air-deflection arms combined with a Coanda multi-level airflow design, achieving up to 126° wide-angle air delivery and a broad, natural-feeling airflow. It can rapidly cool the room while providing two personalized airflow zones to meet the different comfort needs of adults and children. With the DREAME smart app, users can control the system remotely and link it to their daily routines.
  • In the kitchen, the HZ602 range hood and EZ60 bridge induction hob work in concert: the hood uses vortex guidance and an air volume of up to 1800 m³/h to provide powerful yet quiet extraction, with gesture control and auto delayed shut-off; the induction hob offers 3600W rapid heating, a flexible bridging zone for large cookware, multiple protections against dry boiling and spills, and one-touch smart cooking modes. The DZ401 Pro standalone dishwasher uses FlexWing multi-directional spray arms and 75°C high-temperature washing, combined with auto door-open and active ventilation, to deliver deep cleaning, energy and water savings, and dry, odor-free storage.

Dreame02
Dreame02

Through these core categories, DREAME is moving from a “single hero product” approach toward a systemic layout at the home infrastructure layer, with room to expand into more scenarios and services in the future.

A multi-layered product architecture: one brand for different cities and life stages

For DREAME, rather than simply claiming “full price coverage”, the priority is to build a product architecture that can be flexibly configured along city tiers and evolving household needs.

Refrigeration: from flagship kitchens to mainstream homes

Dreame03
Dreame03

  • Z-Fresh flagship series

With FlushFit built-in design as its first key selling point, the Z-Fresh series uses a cabinet depth of around 599 mm and optimized air-duct structure to achieve an almost flush finish with standard cabinetry while still offering more than 500L of usable capacity. The Nebula Grey panel uses a seven-layer mineral fusion process that reproduces the raw texture and cool tones of lunar rock, with light and shadow flowing under the fingertips. A 60-minute fully automated rapid ice-making cycle produces up to 1.2 kg of ice per day, precisely matching ice consumption needs in Southeast Asian households. Dual cooling, –32°C deep freezing and multi-mode FreshFlex variable-temperature drawers flexibly support vegetables and fruits, baby food and soft-freeze storage, meeting the needs of the whole family.

  • C-Fresh Slim series

For space-conscious urban households, C-Fresh positions its approx. 600 mm ultra-slim body as a core selling point, combining a black glass integrated panel, Full-Area Airflow and AI temperature control. Within limited kitchen space, it delivers better cabinet fit, more even cooling and flexible FreshFlex drawers that can switch between vegetables and fruits, baby food and soft-freeze modes.

  • Mega Pro High-Capacity series

Using SpaceBoost™ and other structural innovations, Mega Pro achieves around 409 L or more capacity within standard cabinetry, while maintaining fast and even cooling performance. For mainstream families, it offers a “more space, better storage, more efficient” daily solution with broader pricing bandwidth.

Laundry: from high-end systems to everyday volume drivers

Dreame04
Dreame04

  • L9 AI Dual Inverter washer-dryer set

As DREAME’s high-end laundry hero, L9 is built around AI wash and dry algorithms, circulating spray and ultra-clean foam technologies. Its 12 kg wash + 10 kg dry capacity covers high-frequency household needs, while dual-inverter heat pump technology and multi-dimensional vibration control balance energy efficiency, noise and fabric care. L9 is positioned as a “system-level” flagship for image-building stores and key outlets.

  • P Series front-load range (P5 / P3 / P2)

The P Series forms DREAME’s core front-load lineup:

P5 / P3 adopt 4D Handwash technology, with a tilted drum and four-direction tumbling path that simulate hand-washing motion. Combined with large drum diameters, steam wash and multiple temperature settings, they target mid- to high-end families who prioritize both cleanliness and fabric protection.

P2 focuses on ultra-slim design and quick washes: 530/580 mm bodies fit standard 600 mm cabinet niches, while 15-minute quick wash and steam hygiene modes serve young urban families and compact apartments with high-frequency, small-load usage.

  • D3 / V3 top-load series

For everyday volume and more mass-market scenarios, D3 and V3 create a top-load matrix spanning large and mid capacities:

D3 offers a 14 kg capacity, DD inverter motor, rear control panel and tempered glass lid, emphasizing heavy-duty performance and durability.

V3 comes in 9/10/12 kg capacities with 15-minute quick wash and baby-care cycles, designed as a core volume range for regional chains and neighborhood stores.

This multi-layered layout means a single DREAME brand can tell the same story of “next-generation home infrastructure” through different product combinations – from high-end showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, to regional electrical chains, and further into community-level retail. For media, this creates a richer brand narrative; for investors, it signals a longer product and revenue curve, while channel partners and end users can find the right DREAME solution at each stage of their development.

In the coming years, DREAME will keep increasing investment in local R&D adaptation, local manufacturing collaboration and service network build-out in Vietnam, positioning the country as a key hub connecting Southeast Asia. The company will gradually introduce more TV, air-conditioning and major kitchen appliance lines, working with local partners to shape an open, future-oriented home appliance ecosystem for the next generation of families.

“After more than seven years together, Juanki and I have decided to bring our chapter together as coach and player to an end,” the 22-year-old Alcaraz wrote.

“Thank you for turning childhood dreams into reality. We started this journey when I was barely a kid, and throughout all this time you’ve accompanied me on an incredible journey, on and off the court. I’ve enjoyed every single step with you immensely.”

Under the guidance of Ferrero, the 2003 French Open champion, Alcaraz became the youngest player to reach No.1 in the ATP rankings after winning the US Open in 2022 at 19.

Ferrero said: “Today is a difficult day. One of those when it’s hard to find the right words. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when there are so many shared experiences behind it. We have worked hard, grown together, and shared unforgettable moments.

“I want to thank you for the time, the trust, the learning, and above all, for the people who have surrounded me throughout this journey.”

Alcaraz did not say whether he would hire a new coach to replace Ferrero. Last year, Alcaraz hired Samuel Lopez to work alongside Ferrero.

Delta president Glen Hauenstein, who helped turn airline into industry profit leader, to retire in February

Delta Air Lines President Glen Hauenstein, who propelled the carrier to become the industry’s profit leader and championed the airline’s lucrative embrace of travelers willing to spend a little extra for a more luxurious travel experience, is retiring in February.

“Glen and his team have been central to Delta’s premium strategy, as we evolved over two decades to become the airline of choice for travelers who want to invest in great experiences in the air and on the ground,” CEO Ed Bastian said in a note to employees. “I could not have asked for a better co-pilot to help lead Delta in becoming the best performing airline in the world.”

Delta is promoting Joe Esposito, who has been at Delta for 35 years — most recently as senior vice president of network planning, pricing and revenue management — to executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

Hauenstein, 64, has been with Delta since 2005 and was named to his current role in 2016. He was previously executive vice president and chief revenue officer at the airline. He will become a strategic advisor until the end of 2026.

During his tenure, Hauenstein grew Delta’s international network and helped the airline identify new ways to earn more per seat, in part by successfully getting customers to pay for first-class seats it used to give away for free. In October, Delta said that premium-travel revenue would overtake sales from main cabin next year.

At times, Delta’s strategies proved successful with too many customers. Overcrowding in its Sky Club airport lounges prompted the airline to raise the entry bar to get rid of unsightly lines.

“Glen has played a significant role in Delta’s transformation since its [2005] bankruptcy filing,” said Henry Harteveldt, founder of Atmosphere Research Group, a travel-industry consulting firm. Hauenstein pushed for the now-industry standard to move the loyalty program to reward spending and not just miles flown and encouraged Delta to invest in better pricing and revenue software, he said.

Harteveldt added that Delta must also figure out when it will upgrade its cabin interiors and make sure it’s not alienating customers, some of whom have complained about high redemption rates for frequent flyer miles.

While Delta continues to generate more profit than other carriers, competitors like United Airlines have been investing heavily in revamped cabins, complimentary fast Wi-Fi and new planes. American Airlines, which had been late to the luxury travel boom, is also investing in better products on board and at the airport.

Along with leaning into affluent consumers, Hauenstein had also noted a trend of wealthy baby boomers who were willing to travel.

“Being a baby boomer, I can say this without fear of retribution. There’s only so much time to go to Europe or almost so much time to go see Australia or Japan,” he said on an earnings call in April. “And so you’ve got this wealth effect where this cohort of retirees is wealthier than any other cohort even with the most recent rundown, and they want to go do things.”

Airports allow non-traveling public past security entrances for first time in decades

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

An airport tradition of years gone by is slowly making its way back to certain locations in the U.S., following massive changes in air travel security procedures after the terror attacks of Sept. 11.

Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) in California announced this week it will be introducing guest passes for “non-passengers,” for example.

Visitors can proceed to the post-security side of the passenger terminal to accompany friends or loved ones who are flying out, the airport notes on its website.

NEW TSA POLICY CHARGES PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCEPTABLE IDS AT CHECKPOINTS

“Non-passengers” must apply online for security clearance up to seven days in advance of the day they want to visit the airport, according to the new process.

After people fill out the form, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will approve the visit by sending the “non-passengers” an OAK guest pass.

“Non-passengers” have to present the pass along with a TSA-approved photo ID, such as a passport or Real ID.

Before 2001, U.S. airports generally allowed almost anyone — even those without a boarding pass — to pass through security and wait at the gate.

After the Sept. 11 attacks, the TSA was created, and federal regulations began requiring airports to restrict access to secured areas.

These rules mandate that only passengers with a valid boarding pass may enter post-security areas.

A few other airports have begun to offer “non-passenger” passes, while others plan to roll them out in the future.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport has a “hangout pass,” while San Antonio International Airport (SAT) has a “SAT Pass,” according to the airports’ websites.

Kansas City International Airport, for its part, has a “guest pass.”

Other passes include a “wingmate pass” at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and a “destination pass” at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

In the “r/travel” forum on Reddit, one user asked, “How was airport security before 2001?”

Travelers jumped to the comments section to share nostalgic memories of flying before security tightened.

“One of the biggest differences is that unticketed people could come with you, so family could accompany you to the gate,” wrote one person.

Another user responded, “One of my fondest memories is seeing my grandma as I exited the plane with my brother when my parents sent me out to see her.”

Said a different person, “Going to the airport to watch planes was a big deal. Anytime one had to fly, or a friend or family member [was flying off], a whole group would accompany the traveler/s just to get there early and watch planes take off and land.”

One person wrote, “You could go to the airport just to hang out, even if you had no travel plans.”

The airport “reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the program.”

Yet another user reminisced about “being able to see people off at the gate (or vice versa). Now you have to say your goodbyes, then walk half a mile to your gate alone.”

The writer also recalled that “being able to greet someone at the gate was nice.”

The Oakland airport noted on its site about the new initiative, “The OAK Guest Pass is not a permanent program. PRISM BioLab and Talus Bioscience Join Forces to Discover Novel Inhibitors of Transcription Factor and Protein-Protein Interaction Targets

0

TOKYO, Dec. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — PRISM BioLab, Co. Ltd. (“PRISM”) and Talus Bioscience, Inc. (“Talus Bio”) announced today that they entered into a collaboration to discover novel Inhibitors of transcription factor (TF) and protein-protein interaction (PPI) targets. By combining Talus Bio’s assay technologies for screening for TF and PPI inhibitors in native cellular environment with PRISM’s chemistry designed to target protein-protein interactions, companies are in a unique position to discover and develop drugs against these challenging targets.

Under the agreement, the companies will deploy PRISM’s proprietary small-molecule libraries in Talus Bio’s AI-guided regulome profiling screens to identify and optimize novel compounds against high-value TF and PPI targets. The collaboration aims to generate first-in-class chemical matter with direct functional effects on TF and PPI activity in live human cells. Talus Bio and PRISM will share the costs of discovery research and development and any profits generated from out-licensing and commercialization of discovered drug products.

“We are delighted to partner with Talus Bio on this exciting project”, commented Dai Takehara, PRISM’s President and CEO. “We at PRISM have developed chemistries for PPI targets, but because of the complex nature of these targets, it is often challenging to properly model protein-protein interactions in a biochemical assay.  Even when we are successful, we can interrogate only one target at a time, whereas Talus Bio technologies can interrogate hundreds to thousands of these targets in parallel and in their native environment. We believe that the combination of PRISM’s chemistry platform and Talus Bio’s regulome analysis platform has a potential to discover a plethora of inhibitors against previously “undruggable” TF and PPI targets and open a path for the development of novel therapeutics.

“This collaboration gives us an unprecedented opportunity to pursue targets that have resisted conventional drug discovery,” said Alex Federation, PhD, CEO and Co-Founder of Talus Bio. “Integrating PRISM’s chemistry with Talus Bio’s regulome profiling and AI models allows us to see, in real time, how compounds reshape transcriptional networks in human cells. It’s a step-change in our ability to drug the undruggable.”

This collaboration represents a pivotal step for both companies in establishing a systematic, scalable strategy to address TF and PPI targets. Together, PRISM and Talus Bio are creating a unified platform capable of revealing and modulating regulatory mechanisms that have remained undruggable for decades. By combining PRISM’s PepMetics® technology with Talus Bio’s regulome profiling capabilities, the collaboration opens the door to therapies addressing diseases caused by previously undruggable targets.

About Talus Biosciences

Talus Bio is making the regulome accessible to drug discovery. Founded in 2020, the Seattle-based company’s platform generates global profiles of the regulome, including transcription factors and other DNA regulators directly in native human cells. These quantitative maps of regulome activity unlock new avenues to target historically “undruggable” proteins that function within the regulome.

This data is leveraged to build a lab-in-the-loop AI system to discover and optimize small molecules with direct effects on regulome activity. With the world’s most comprehensive regulome activity dataset and a multidisciplinary team spanning high-throughput proteomics, machine learning, and AI-native drug discovery, Talus Bio is unlocking a new generation of precision therapeutics.

3 in 4 Asia Pacific Entrepreneurs Anticipate Economic Gains Next Year – Herbalife Survey

0

HONG KONG, Dec. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Herbalife, a premier health and wellness company, community and platform, today released findings from its Asia Pacific (APAC) Health and Economic Empowerment Survey 2025. The findings revealed strong economic optimism among entrepreneurs, with three in four (74%) expecting their economic well-being to improve in the next 12 months, compared to half (48%) of non-entrepreneurs sharing the same outlook.

The survey also highlighted significantly higher levels of economic and health empowerment levels among entrepreneurs versus non-entrepreneurs in the region. Defined as the ability to make informed decisions that enhance one’s physical, mental and emotional well-being (health empowerment), and improve one’s financial stability (economic empowerment), these levels came in at 17 percentage points higher among the entrepreneurs surveyed. This underscores the greater sense of control entrepreneurs have over both their health and economic well-being.

“Contrary to the popular belief that entrepreneurship is inherently stressful and often leads to burnout, the survey shows that entrepreneurs report higher levels of economic optimism, confidence, and empowerment,” said Thomas Harms, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Herbalife. “In today’s economic climate, many individuals are exploring ways to create additional income streams. Herbalife is committed to supporting them by helping people strengthen their health and wellness, while offering opportunities for those who want to build a business for themselves as individual distributors.”

Conducted in October, the APAC Health and Economic Empowerment Survey 2025 polled 8,505 respondents, including 2,245 entrepreneurs across 11 markets, covering Australia, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan region, Thailand and Vietnam.

Entrepreneurs show strong confidence in their economic well-being

Across the region, entrepreneurs are more likely to see their economic well-being positively. 43% of entrepreneurs rate their current state of economic well-being as being ‘very good’, compared with just 25% of non-entrepreneurs who share the same view. Looking ahead, 74% of entrepreneurs expect their economic well-being to improve in the next 12 months, while less than half (48%) of non-entrepreneurs share the same level of confidence.

Entrepreneurs also show greater optimism in achieving their economic goals. Half of the entrepreneurs surveyed are confident they will meet their short-term economic goal in 12 months, 23 percentage points higher than non-entrepreneurs. Similarly, 51% are confident about reaching their long-term economic goals within five years, 21 percentage points higher than those who are not entrepreneurs.

Higher economic and health empowerment among APAC entrepreneurs

Beyond optimism and confidence in their current and future economic well-being, the findings also revealed higher economic and health empowerment levels among APAC entrepreneurs. Nearly six in 10 (59%) of entrepreneurs said that they feel empowered to make decisions to improve their financial stability and economic well-being, 18 percentage points higher than the 39% of non-entrepreneurs who share the same view. Health empowerment levels were similarly higher among entrepreneurs, with 65% feeling empowered compared to 48% of non-entrepreneurs.

This sense of empowerment could explain why entrepreneurs report greater confidence in achieving their health goals in the next 12 months. More than half (56%) of entrepreneurs believe they can reach their health objectives within the next 12 months, compared to just 33% of non-entrepreneurs who share the same belief.

Strong correlation between health and economic empowerment

The findings underscore a strong correlation between health and economic empowerment. Individuals who feel highly empowered to make decisions that improve their economic well-being are more likely to report higher levels of health empowerment in tandem. This suggests that confidence in financial decision-making may just go hand-in-hand with one’s confidence in managing personal health.

With greater control over goal setting, time and resource management, and intentional lifestyle and financial choices, entrepreneurs experience a profound sense of empowerment to achieve their aspirations. This agency fuels confidence and drives better health and economic outcomes. It’s a powerful reminder that when individuals take charge of their economic and health decisions, they unlock the potential to transform not just their future—but also their lives.
