Farmer Wants A Wife couple Todd and Daisy share ‘difficult’ relationship update

Farmer Wants A Wife couple Todd and Daisy have addressed the rumours surrounding their relationship.

Two years after they first met on the reality dating show, the couple confirmed they were separating in a joint Instagram post shared on Monday.

Todd and Daisy explained the difficult decision was mutual and despite going their separate ways, “there’s not bitterness or bad blood between us”.

“This is a delicate and difficult time for everyone involved, so we kindly ask that our privacy is respected as we navigate this change,” the statement said. “There are always parts of a relationship that remain private, and out of respect for one another, we intend to keep them that way.

“We’re both grateful for the love and support we’ve received and hope everyone can respect our decision and allow us the space to move forward in our own way. “Please be kind — there are real people and feelings behind what you see online.”

Cattle farmer Todd, from NSW, first met Daisy on the 2024 season of Farmer Wants A Wife.

Their relationship drew early attention on the season after Daisy, a former gym manager from Townsville, broke a house rule and snuck into Todd’s bedroom, leading to clashes with fellow contestant Jacinta.

Despite the drama, farmer Todd chose Daisy as his final lady.

“Finding love is a big risk. I’m willing to take the risk with you, Daisy,” Todd said, during the show.

“I can finally give you the reassurance that I am definitely falling in love with you.”

Emotional, Daisy looked towards the future: “This is where the exciting part starts, right? Forever.”

After the finale, Daisy moved from Queensland to Todd’s cattle property in Baan Baa, helping out on the farm and landing a job in real estate.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary in December last year with a Instagram video montage and openly discussed plans to get married one day.

“From our very first meeting, there was a connection beyond love at first sight — more like a comforting familiarity. It wasn’t an immediate spark, but a gentle recognition,” the couple captioned the clip. “There was a certainty, a quiet understanding that our paths were meant to cross.

“It wasn’t flashy, just a quiet assurance that this person was destined to be a significant part of my journey. In that simple exchange of glances, a beautiful story began — one where love unfolded gradually.”

But in the break-up announcement, the former reality couple admitted they had given the relationship everything they could.

“At the end of the day, neither of us wanted to keep forcing something to work to the point where we ruined the friendship, care and respect we still have for one another,” Todd and Daisy said.

“Sometimes knowing when to walk away is just as important as knowing when to keep fighting.”
